Dorian Berman is an American mixed-media artist, specializing in encaustic. Her work is deeply layered, contemplative, and tactile, with a voice that feels both intimate and universal.

Dorian’s use of encaustic and cold wax creates surfaces that look as if they hold history inside them—veils of pigment, embedded textures, and subtle translucencies that invite the viewer to look beneath the surface.
